Here comes the Battle of the new 4G BlackBerrys!

For those of us who like BlackBerrys as our choice of smartphone- we're now faced with the decision of QWERTY or TOUCHSCREEN...

Now, both phones have a "1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal and 32GB external storage options, micro USB and micro HDMI ports, and an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera." So they are fairly evenly matched when it comes to performance spec!

But, the Z10 has a 4.2-inch 720p LCD display, where as the Q10 has a 3.1-inch 720x720 Super AMOLED display. Although, the Z10 has only a 1800 mAh battery, while the Q10 has a 2100 mAh battery -- so the Q10 has a noticeably longer batter life, with the Z10 having a bigger screen size.


So, really I'd say it might come down to the ultimate decider question: do you prefer the keyboard layout for your texts, emails and internet browsing, or are you keen on touch capabilities for your smartphone experience...

Samsung S4
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is using a similar construction to its predecessor, which may be polycarbonate but looks and feels rather cheap in the hand, and weighs practically nothing. If you're anything like us sometimes you want a bit of weight in your palm to justify the price and performance!

Having said that, because it now has a 5-inch screen that pushes much closer to the edge of the handset, it gives a better usability overall.


Sony Xperia Z 
Like the S4 the Xperia Z is really struggling to show it's worth the cash as well, with a very plastic shell and one that sounds really cheap when tapped on the back!

However there's a fairly good reason for the cheap-feeling design: the Xperia Z is both waterproof and dustproof, with seals around each port to stop water and other nasty stuff affecting the use of your new smartphone.


HTC One
The most impressive is the HTC One, with its full aluminium shell. It's something of a masterpiece in terms of design!

Sure, aluminium isn't as durable as plastic, but hold all three in your hand and we challenge you not to fall a little in love with the HTC One.
