Samsung S4 vs HTC One vs Sony Xperia Z

BATTLE of the 4G SMARTPHONES!

Which one have you got your eye on?

Above are just 3 of the latest smartphones that boast the lightening fast speeds of the new 4G: 4th Generation data technologies.

Samsung S4
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is using a similar construction to its predecessor, which may be polycarbonate but looks and feels rather cheap in the hand, and weighs practically nothing. If you're anything like us sometimes you want a bit of weight in your palm to justify the price and performance!

Having said that, because it now has a 5-inch screen that pushes much closer to the edge of the handset, it gives a better usability overall.

Sony Xperia Z
Like the S4 the Xperia Z is really struggling to show it's worth the cash as well, with a very plastic shell and one that sounds really cheap when tapped on the back!

However there's a fairly good reason for the cheap-feeling design: the Xperia Z is both waterproof and dustproof, with seals around each port to stop water and other nasty stuff affecting the use of your new smartphone.

HTC One
The most impressive is the HTC One, with its full aluminium shell. It's something of a masterpiece in terms of design!

Sure, aluminium isn't as durable as plastic, but hold all three in your hand and we challenge you not to fall a little in love with the HTC One.

All this being said, you may be thinking about the iPhone 5- which is arguably the reigning champion in the smartphone race for dominance.

Nokia Music with Mix Radio

Nokia Music: for the Asha and Lumia range!

Nokia Music, the Spotify-style streaming service included with the new Lumia 520 handsets, is set to launch on Asha phones.

“We’ve had really positive feedback from users of Nokia Music on Lumia smartphones and we wanted more people to have access to this innovative, free music service," said Jyrki Rosenberg, Nokia's vice-president of entertainment.

"There’s nothing quite like it for phones in this price range and I believe it will change the way many people listen to music.”

Nokia Music is pretty impressive, featuring a huge library of 24 million tracks! The free service Mix Radio delivers personalised music mixes based on Nokia's clever listening algorithms. The mixes can be streamed via Nokia Music or up to four mixes can be downloaded and stored on the phone. If you don't fancy listening to the auto-mixes provided by Nokia, the service will let you build your own mixes based on 3 separate artist searches.

Single Number double sim

fed up with juggling 2 numbers?

Single Number lets you have the same number for 2 mobile devices, e.g. your mobile phone and a PDA or car phone. This makes life a lot easier giving you:

one number for contacts to reach you

one bill and price plan for both devices

one Answer Phone to manage voicemail messages

one synced contact list for all your numbers

one set of matching phone settings

- remember one number

You’re always reachable on whichever device is closest to hand. And your colleagues and clients just need to remember one number.

- use one Answer Phone

You can listen to messages on either device. If you delete a message on one device, it will delete it on the other device too.

- get one bill

You’ll get a single bill, which means there’s no need to reconcile multiple bills. So that cuts down time spent fiddling with admin and calculating spend.

- drive safely

It’s a safe solution for driving, as there’s no need for a headset. Just switch off your mobile and all calls will go to your car kit.

- convenience

no need swap SIM cards between handsets means there's no fiddle and no hassle

- low cost

£30 connection plus just £3 monthly fee for the second device in addition to the talk plan
